Accelerator Northwest Bulgaria
provides a program to accelerate business development and support innovative
start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses. The work of the Accelerator is
aimed at companies that seek to develop highly innovative applications and
build high technology solutions in the four main priority areas identified in
the Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization of the Republic of
Bulgaria 2014-2020 (IS3), namely:
"Mechatronics and Clean Technology"
"Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies"
"Industry for Healthy Life and Biotechnology"
"New Technologies in the Creative and Entertainment Industries"
In order to bring the presented
and approved projects into real life, the program of Accelerator Northwest Bulgaria will
cover the whole entrepreneurial cycle - from the creation of the idea to the
development of a prototype and starting
a business. The program will provide support for building teams and
ideas, developing business models, providing training and mentoring, e-learning
and online consulting, as well as providing support for access to funding from
different sources.
